This bulletin met my expectations and provided me with a few new ideas and techniques. If I only learned one thing from this bulletin, it would be money well spent. I learned several so its money in the bank.If you are familiar with extension service bulletins, then you have a good idea of Storey's bulletins. They provide simple "nuts and bolts" subject matter....as opposed to "Cake and ice cream". They are short, usually around 20 pages or so.
It was ok. A short, basic introduction to grafting. Useful for learning the terminology but lacking in detail such as location or season specific information. Good for Gardeners who want to try grafting for the first time.
This is a great booklet with easy to understand instructions. The book covers several different methods of grafting and materials for the grafting process. After receiving the booklet I was able to graft 6 scions onto my 30 year old apple tree successfully. I highly recommend this booklet on grafting to anyone who wants to successfully graft quality scions onto their root stock.
Book came quickly. It is,a small book, but full of good tips for a greenhorn. Going to try some grafting this year and this was a good place to start. Very inexpensive too.
This is more of a booklet than a book on the subject.
Everything in this brochure is covered in multiple extension agency reports you can get online for free.
The pictures are in black and white and colored pictures would be clearer. I am new at grafting and would have to reread some points when actually doing the graft.
This little pamphlet is a basic, general overview/guide on grafting.If someone is just starting to get into grafting, I suggest a more in-depth book
