Excellent book, very up to date and informative. I bought the shop manual and it's all in color with great pics and good side notes by the author. Overall, the Today's technician set is a great buy regardless of which volume you get.
I studied refrigeration systems in the early 70's but really didn't follow it has a career. Since I retired, I dabble a bit in repairs mostly for friends and people in need, to the limit of my equipment primarily.I've found this book to be a good solid electrical and mechanical reference work with modern systems/control approaches as well. I highly recommend!
Very disappointed. I rented this book because it stated that it included the classroom and shop manual but it did not contain the shop manual. This was a huge set back for me at school.

Expected the Classroom Manual & Shop Manual as stated in the name of the product but only recieved the shop manual. Please be specific if only one is being sold. Wasted more money on one book then I would have by buying both of them.
